Description and History

Satellites built as part of the Operation Minmay strategic defense system. These satellites are named after famous female vocalist Lynn Minmay whose songs helped defeat the Zentradi Army in Space War I and saved humanity from extinction. Large numbers of these satellites form a defensive line along the orbital path of the planet Mars and are coordinated by a central space platform. The satellites are designed for powerful, broad wave transmission of media and large-scale holographic projection in space. These capabilities are deployed to overwhelm communication channels with music and project images of pop culture directly upon enemy fleets, which has an incredibly debilitating effect upon uninitiated Zentradi. Since outsider Zentradi forces lack any culture of their own, they are extremely vulnerable to culture shock via Operation Minmay.
