  • Description and History

The Super Ghost is a class of advanced unmanned spaceplanes owned and operated by interstellar conglomerate Chaos (χάος). Larger than the preceeding generation drones like the QF-4000 / AIF-7S Ghost Fighter of the late 2050's, the Super Ghost is nonetheless higher performing allowing it to threaten modern variable fighter craft. The Super Ghost also adopts a feature of much older generation Ghost craft, specifically mounting Super Packs like the 2040's era X-9. The Super Ghost is also notable for the capability to dock upon the main wings of the VF-31X variable fighter.

In the final battle of 2068 that ended the conflict against the organization named Heimdall, Δ (Delta) Squadron leader Mirage Jenius remote commanded two Super Ghosts to dock with the VF-31AX Karios Plus piloted by Hayate Immelmann. Immelmann - with the aid of Tactical Sound Unit 'Walküre' - was able to use the powerful combined thrust of his VF-31AX and twin Super Ghosts to penetrate the dimensional barrier protecting the Battle Astraea and disable the command bridge of the enemy vessel.

Size Analysis: The Super Ghost has no official length. However, the VF-31AX Kairos Plus Bandai DX toy is approximately 32 cm long and the Super Ghost accessory figures are 21 cm long. Official trivia states the VF-31AX fighter is 19.31 meters long, so at a 0.656 ratio of fighter-to-ghost, the Super Ghost would be approximately 12.67 meters in length (not including Super Packs).
