Similar in function and armament to the television series version, the Nousjadeul-Ger (from Japanese katakana pronounced "nuujaderu gaa") film version featured a more organic redesign for the movie. The Nousjadeul-Ger was also more visible in the film Macross: Do You Remember Love? proven by it's inclusion in three major combat sequences in the first two acts of the film. The film version of the Nousjadeul-Ger is also seen using rifles (in addition to a redesigned mecha pistol) and a barely seen variant featuring a 6-rack missile launcher mounted on the top left thruster is also briefly glimpsed during the initial combat scene.
