  • Description and History

The Heavy Mobile Soldier Vajra, often known as the "Hound Vajra", is a giant, spaceborne vajra breed appearing in relatively fewer numbers than more common vajra. It has been observed they operate like a commander unit for other vajra in spite of the Vajra's common consciousness lacking any actual chain of command. Commander organisms like the Hound Vajra may serve more to rally vajra as opposed to "commanding" that would occur in hierarchical organizations common to individually conscious beings like humans/zentradi. The Hound Vajra is also sometimes deployed for special duties like independent reconnaissance. The Hound Vajra possesses very high maneuverability in flight, bio-fold capability and the many bio-micro missiles it has are all grown internally. A distinct feature of the Hound Vajra is the translucent pouch on its chest, which is theorized to protect vajra larva. This pouch was most notably used to hold Ranka Lee after she was captured by the vajra. A vajra space battle group run by a single Vajra Queen can include several hundred Hound Vajra.
