On April 9, 2050, Captain Aegis Focker is placed in command of the 727th Independent Special Command VF-X Ravens. The VF-X Ravens operate the VF-11B fighters still in service and feature unique customized squadron colors. The normally dark colors of the VF-11B are replaced with a light grey hull, yellow highlights on the wing tips/stabilizers and a beige nose cone. Within this squadron Captain Focker commands Suzie Newtlet and Syun Tohma, two rookie pilots that quickly develop into stalwart fighters. The VF-X Ravens fly in combat against a newly formed terrorist group known as the Vindirance. Backed by the Critical Path Corporation and lead by Timoshie Daldahnton, the Black Rainbows unit is the most vicious enemy threat to the UNG since the Varauta Army attacks of the Protodeviln War.
