In the tradition of military training, some aging units were deployed as live-fire targets in the performance evaluation tests for the project Super Nova AVF. The YF-19 utilized the FAST Pack Arm Armament Unit in the Super Nova AVF and fired upon a disarmed Mk II Monster target destroid in a live fire exercise conducted at New Edwards Test Flight Center on Eden in 2040.
