The Heavy-Duty Truck is a large cargo vehicle that can be utilized for a variety of uses, including transport of perishable sea food products. This large truck has it's own mechanical refrigeration systems and was active all over South Ataria Island in 2009. When then civilian pilot Hikaru Ichijo crashed into the urban centers of the island in a VF-1D Valkyrie, his unskilled attempts to operate the battroid mode caused the valkyrie to fall into the Chinese restaurant where Lynn Minmay worked. Two large Heavy-Duty Trucks emblazzoned with a swordfish logo were nearby during the crash and made use of their towing cables in an attempt to upright the fallen valkyrie. Unfortunately, Ichijo's VF-1D simply fell onto the other side of the street. The two drivers, having helped to cause more damage to the surrounding buildings, hastily departed.
