The discovery of OverTechnology from the crashed Alien StarShip-1 lead to a rise in amazing advances for electronics and robotics. As a result of these advances in technology, robots became very common in every day life to the point where by the year 2012 most took the presence of robots for granted. Robots appeared for many tasks including mobile vending machines that responded to human requests for refreshment, camera robots on hand to take pictures whenever convenient at scenic locales and even disposal robots for removing refuse or recycling materials.
Cola Bot (Self-Propelled Cola Vending Machine)
The mobile vending machine is an autonomous service robot that supplies cola and other beverages to customers. The bot has refrigeration systems and dispensors similar to conventional vending machines. However the robot is self-propelled allowing it to be mobile, moving from one location to the next as consumer need demands. The robot will respond to voice commands from customers, the most common being the word; "Cola!". The robot does possess safety programming and will not damage or destroy itself in an attempt to move toward a customer situated in a hazardous area.
Camera Bot (Cannon J-1 Self-Propelled Photo Developing Machine)
The camera robot is another self-propelled autonomous service robot providing photographs to customers. Like the cola robot, the camera robot will respond to verbal commands from customers, most often when customers speak the word; "Camera!". The camera robot typically stays out of sight in the foliage of common public areas such as parks. The robot accepts both cash and credit cards as legal tender for service and provides an instant printed photograph of the shot taken from a horizontal dispensor slot just below the front camera lens.
The disposal and recycling robot is a self-propelled autonomous service robot that collects and removes small refuse or other reclaimable materials from a designated area. The disposal robot has a simple drive system and a mechanized arm enabling it to move freely around the environment and efficiently collect refuse. The disposal bot has advanced navigation programming enabling it to quickly and safely move among crowds of people, able to avoid being a hazard to any people walking nearby.
