Variant VF-1A Valkyrie "Alaska Base"
Debut: Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Episode 15
Description: This variant - designated "Alaska Base" by toy manufacturer Yamato - was seen when Misa Hayase and Captain Global arrived at the U.N. Command Headquarters in Alaska. Several of these Battroids with green painted exteriors stood guard at the landing platform to the underground facility. Since the Alaska base housed both the Grand Cannon and the U.N. Forces Command, one might assume assignment to this guard unit was a very auspicious posting for a
Valkyrie pilot.
