Variant VF-1J Valkyrie "Cannon Fodder" Notes Debut: Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Episode 2 Description: In colors almost identical to the standard VF-1A Northrom, the VF-1J "Cannon Fodder" battroid was first seen in the middle of combat with a VF-1A providing covering fire. This variant is unofficially named "cannon fodder" due to the colors shared with the standard UN Spacy VF-1A Valkyrie, despite the J-Type being reserved for team leaders and squadron commanders.
